Product details
Gulabi is the boldest of the three Baithak designs. A lattice of interlocking diamonds in magenta, rose and violet covers the face of the cushion, each diamond holding a small star at its centre.
The colours shift as the light moves across it, from deep pink in the shade to something closer to violet in the sun.
It is a piece made to be noticed, and works best as a single statement on a plain sofa or chair.
In homes across Pakistan and the North, the baithak is the sitting room kept for guests: the best-kept room in the house, furnished with the family's finest cushions and embroidered covers.
